Rodriguez Foundation is dedicated to creating an open, accessible, and engaged space for contemporary art.
At the core of our activities is an exhibition programme focused on practices rooted in the traditions of conceptualism and minimalism—art that is rich in meaning, employs minimal means of expression, and consciously engages in a dialogue with space. We are particularly interested in projects that address significant contemporary issues, raise challenging questions, and are sensitive to shifting cultural contexts and social tensions.
Through our programme, we present both emerging and established artists from Poland and abroad. Our activities operate at the intersection of locality and international artistic exchange, fostering dialogue between diverse experiences and perspectives.
In parallel, we develop educational and community-building initiatives aimed at diverse audiences. Our goal is to break down barriers in the reception of contemporary art and to foster sensitivity to new forms of visual expression. We create a space accessible to people with varying levels of familiarity with art, seeking new forms of communication between art and its publics—through guided tours, gallery walks, and an open studios festival.
An important part of our work focuses on supporting the artistic community. We offer a range of opportunities for development and collaboration, including workshops, networking events, talks with representatives of the art world, individual consultations, portfolio reviews, and the educational programme Curatorial Studio.
A significant strand of our activity is dedicated to children, including the workshop series First Encounter with Contemporary Art, which introduces younger audiences to the world of contemporary art.
Our activities are made possible thanks to funding from:
the budget of the City of Poznań,
the funds of the Marshal’s Office of the Wielkopolska Region,
and the Ministry of Culture and National Heritage.
